Grew up in the Austrian Empire and finished secondary school faster then average. He becomes a star designer and decides to study/develop gyroscopic designs for gravicite designs. Before departing for the Austrian Polytechnic in 1875, he heard about Cascadia through the media sensation that occurred after the its revelation to the various nations. At first it seems like a fabrication or merely exaggeration of some new technology so he didn’t put too much faith in it. After a couple years of school, Tesla receives enough news that he realizes the truth of Cascadia’s existence. He drops out of school and cuts all ties with his family. They believed he died by committing suicide by jumping in a river. He traveled to Cascadia and arrived in 1878. Within a few months, Tesla was Edison’s right hand man. Helping with new designs that were more compact was his focus. His designs were essential in making Edison’s creations sleeker and more efficient.
